So how has this helped sales ? Susan gives an example . If 100 invited guests come and spend only $ 10 , that would be $ 1,000 . But if they spend more than $ 10 , you can do the math .
“ We can ’ t outgive God ,” Susan says . “ He has given us up to 100 times what we have given .”
She has seen how God is using these events to grow their business and their ministry .
“[ The event ] has had a very special effect not only to our business but in our community ,” Susan says . “ I have seen authors and crafters encouraged to keep doing what they are doing . We have seen people want to write books or a sequel . Some authors have told me they have never made any money on their books until they sold them at this event . It ’ s all because God loves us all .”

At the event , authors and crafters set their own price for their items and collect their own money and sales tax . Susan says she tells them this ahead of time so they are ready to accept payments before the event starts . If they don ’ t have a means to collect , Susan offers to run the transaction through their POS system and collect the money with sales tax . They ask for 50 % of the sale
