A simple bulletin board could be set up for customers to write their prayers or requests for our nation. A banner heading could say“ Write a prayer for our nation” or“ What would you ask God to do in our community?” Visibility could foster store staff’ s own prayers throughout the week.

Promote“ Pray for America” Resources As a retailer you can help equip believers to pray intentionally for leaders, communities and families in weeks leading up to the event. Some promotional ideas include the following:
• Email newsletter featuring prayer books and resources
• Social media posts with prayer prompts for the nation
• NDP bookmarks given with purchases( available on the NDP website)
Host a Short In-Store Prayer Gathering Often Christians simply don’ t know where to find an NDP gathering. Your store could be one of those places, and the NDP Task Force encourages individuals to post their event on its website. Possible formats could include a 10-minute lunchtime prayer time, morning prayer before the store opens or an evening community prayer gathering. Local pastors might be willing to lead prayer over each of the seven focus areas.
Another idea is to host a livestream viewing event for the 2026 National Day of Prayer broadcast, which will be broadcasted starting at 8 p. m. ET on the National Day of Prayer social media channels, websites and many
