I'm 29 years young with 2 precious children who are my whole world. In January of 2023, pregnant with my 3rd child, during an OB appointment, I was told the baby no longer had a heartbeat. Heartbroken, I went home not truly believing my child was gone. It was 3 days later when what I thought was a heart attack, but now know was a panic attack, sent me to the ER. Scans in the ER revealed no signs of a heart attack, but did reveal a mass.

After multiple hospital stays, extensive tests, multiple rounds of antibiotics, 2 biopsies and 7 months later, I was diagnosed with Invasive Mucinous Adenocarcinoma at 27 years old. After biomarker testing didn't reveal any driving mutations, I was left with a question as old as time "Why?" This catapulted me into research where I discovered radon. Now I strive to raise awareness for this silent killer.
