Rebecca Barry, MSc

Rebecca Barry is a UK based anthropologist who works as a consultant for CEHN. In this role, Rebecca works across CEHN to facilitate and develop existing projects and expand CEHN’s public outreach and external communications. Rebecca graduated with a BA in Anthropology from Durham University, and an MSc in Medical Anthropology from the University of Oxford. Rebecca is highly passionate about environmental justice issues, and has conducted a range of public and environmental health research projects. These include publications on pesticide exposures, female reproductive health, and the development and progression of mesothelioma. She aims to develop and enhance public health interventions and grass roots schemes to protect and improve human and environmental health.

Alisha Keshwani

Clive, IA

Alisha is the Intercollegiate Director of

the Eastern Region chapters. She is a sophomore studying Biology, Health,

and Society at the University of Michigan.

Alisha first joined ALCSI in high school

and has served as the co-founder and current co-president of the University of Michigan ALCSI chapter for the past 3 years.

The Premier Youth Ambassadors for Radon Reduction (PYA) program recognizes outstanding environmental radon projects developed by youth. PYA promotes awareness of the dangers of living and breathing high levels of radon

gas in homes, schools and workplaces. The program encourages positive community involvement with the objective of increased radon testing and mitigation. Each year the PYA program honors a wide variety of projects created by young students, school classes and clubs, youth camps, and youth organizations to promote radon environmental awareness. https://radonreimagined.org
