The most exciting
segment for us was
off-course, the
modest fashion. The
runway saw an array
of styles, from urban
to evening to workwear inspired by
traditional and
modern Malaysian,
Moroccan, Swedish
and Chinese styles.
From headscarf to
covered ankles,
everything
deliberately designed
to provide ready-towear styles for the
Muslim women.
Some of the leading
Muslimah fashion
brands and designers
on show were OWL
by Malaysian
celebrity Nora Danish, MFA, Yan’s Creation, Najua Yanti and Fazura x
Adriana Yariqa.
Across all the lines, there was a trend of colours, bold prints and twopiece options revealing them to be popular styles for 2017.
