Assessment Two – SWOT analysis of the role (60% weighting)
You are required to produce a 1500 word SWOT analysis of your role,
demonstrating the challenges the role presented and how you have
overcome those challenges successfully. If you include specific cases
where you have helped a student, please make sure you anonymise all the
names associated with the case.
You should present your SWOT analysis as a reflective essay, detailing
your personal strengths and weaknesses and showing how you used these
qualities effectively, particularly how you overcame any weaknesses that
you identify. You should then identify the opportunities that the role
presented you with to practice (and therefore develop) those skills.
Finally, you should give examples of any threats to the development of
those skills. You are strongly advised to submit a draft of this assessment
for guidance and feedback no later than 3 weeks before the deadline.
