WHY IS IT FOR ME?
• Golf is engaging – you will find it easier to make exercise enjoyable. • It does not
need to take all day; playing 9 holes will only take 2 hours. • It keeps you fit – 18-
hole game of golf uses at least 900 calories. • Gets you outdoors – proven way to
help improve mood, stress levels and self-esteem.
• Perfect way to make friends or grow closer bonds with people you know.
• Golf can be competitive and a personal challenge.
Ring Chevin professional Shop 01332 841112 for more information and to book
your free taster session.
SEASON’S MATCHES GETTING UNDERWAY AT CHEVIN.
Our Scratch Team, comprising Paul Tatlow, Bill Steel, James Russell, Paul Akers
and Ben Small were victorious against Burton in their first match of the season.
8-2 was the score line.
It’s hard to believe that we are half way through playing our Ladies 2017 Trophy
Matches. Many have taken place in April – with good weather!
The ladies have recorded wins against Cavendish and Kedleston, but a loss against
Chesterfield in a very close match losing 3-2.
Libby Harrison and Rachel Blackburn progressed to the 3rd round of the National
Daily Mail Foursomes competition but sadly lost away at Bondhay. However, it
was well played to get to the 3rd round.
