Burke Students Attend All-State Choir

The Burke All-State Choir students, consisting of Hannah Karbo, Grace Hazen, Brock Karbo, and Kaleb Wells, traveled to Vermillion October 7, to attend a practice for their performance on October 31.
The Burke students arrived October 30 to prepare for their performance the following day. On Halloween, they performed their songs on live TV and in front of a live audience.
"It was great, we sang a lot, but it was well worth it," proclaimed Hannah Karbo.
Juniors Raise Money for Prom

Throughout the month of September, the Junior class sold magazines and other goods to friends and relatives to raise money for Prom in the spring. They did a great job with their fundraising raising $2,020!
The students can continue to sell their magazines online through December. You can still order your magazines or other goods through gaschoolstore.com. The website has many different products from magazines to gift wrap to coffee mugs, and all the funds go to a good cause. To purchase through Burke High School you must use the online store ID: 2570224.
