2015 STATE MEET
Person Duo Take on State

The State Cross-Country Meet took place at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls on October 24. The Cougars had two young competitors qualify last week at Regions in Freeman. Kray Person, a sophomore, ran a very competitive race with a time of 18:03 which placed him in the top 25. Kray medaled with 16th place. Lacey Person, just an 8th grader and the only girl out for the team, had a great year as well and finished her season placing 79th running a time of 22:60.
"Lacey ran really well," mentioned Kray Person.
"It was a good day to end to season on, I can't wait for next year," stated Lacey Person.
