"This first-year event was hosted by Barton County Community College's Early Childhood Education program on the morning of Saturday, September 20th. This event was a free children's resource and activity fair for families with children from infant age to eight years old. They got to explore vehicles both large and small, participate in inquiry-based learning activities around science, technology, engineering, arts & letters, and mathematics. Cottonwood Extension District Agents spoke with over 140 adults and children about joining 4-H and gave youth the chance to hear farm animals' noises and guess which animal it was. Fun was had by all!
