Thank you for the opportunity to work with YOU - the families and communities of Cottonwood Extension District (Barton and Ellis County). I have greatly appreciated getting to know so many community members in both counties. I know that Cottonwood Extension District will continue to learn and grow and become better and stronger.
My favorite part of working in Extension has been seeing people of all ages develop new skills and try new things. I think every person, young and old, should take the opportunity to build a better self. I have enjoyed working with those who have desired to become a better person and in time have built a better world for themselves and their family.
While I am taking retirement from K-State Research and Extension, I am still venturing off to try something new. I will be serving Barton County FSA (Farm Service Agency) as a Program Technician and I am sure I will learn many new things. I still hope to volunteer for 4-H or Extension and I look forward to seeing you at some fun area or state events where good friends meet!
Thank you for your support and dedication to the Extension programs and best wishes to all of you in the future.
