Sydney Mattison is the summer office intern in the Cottonwood-Barton County Office. She noted, “I am going to be a sophomore at Fort Hays State University in the Fall, majoring in Marketing and studying graphic design and event management. While interning here at K-State Research and Extension, I am excited to learn more about 4-H programming, communications, and community outreach.”
She interned with the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce last summer and we are excited to share Extension work with her as she assists with the Barton County Fair and other programs across the District.
Hello Cottonwood District, my name is Lyndsey Buechman. I will be serving as the 2025 summer intern in Ellis County. I began this journey last summer and loved the community of extension in the district so I decided to return for another year. I look forward to helping with programs and serving 4-Her’s at the county fairs this summer.
I bring 12 years of 4-H experience and leadership training with me from the Chisholm Trail district and look forward to using the skills 4-H taught me to make an impact in the Cottonwood district. I look forward to meeting you all!
