Hello! My name is Karissa Winkel, and I am excited to start as the Family and Community Wellness Agent for the Cottonwood District on June 12th.
I recently graduated from Pittsburg State University with my Master's of Science in Human Performance and Recreation. As a graduate teaching assistant for Pittsburg State, I previously served the Wildcat District as a part-time SNAP-Ed nutrition assistant.
I am eager to be part of the Cottonwood team and pursue my passion of helping others in the field of health and wellness!
