"On November 22 & 23, Cottonwood Extension District 4-Her's joined members from across the state as delegates of the Kansas Youth Leadership Forum! KYLF is an opportunity for 4-H youth to build their leadership skills and potential through workshops, consulting groups, inspirational speakers, and much more. Our 4-H’ers also got to vote for State 4-H Youth Leadership Council representatives from the Northwest region that will represent them and help plan next year’s state 4-H events. KYLF is held at Rock Springs 4-H Ranch, and open to youth 4-H age 14-18.
2025 Delegates included: Russell Kern, DJ Wyant, Willow Braddy, Callie Loesch, and Aliza Straub. Both Melody Braddy and Grace Schmeidler attended as State 4-H Youth Leadership Council members who assisted in organizing and planning the event, while Faith Schmeidler attended as a delegate and was elected to serve on the 2025-2026 State 4-H Youth Leadership Council. Congratulations and great job to all of our Cottonwood Extension District Kansas Youth Leadership Forum 4-H delegates!
