This year I attended the 4-H National Congress in Atlanta. I had an amazing time, and met tons of cool people from all over the U.S. With many of them, I traded pins, which may have been one of my favorite things that I did there. Workshops were held several of the days where we could learn leadership skills, teambuilding, and many fun activities.
Each day a new world class speaker would give some fun words of wisdom, often followed by entertainment from other delegates. I also got to tour several locations in Atlanta, like the zoo and history center.
One of my favorite things that I did there was the service project at the Historic Oakland Cemetery’s center. The food there was also amazing. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe and The Varsity, two renowned locations, as well as an international and a gala dinner. Congress was ran extremely well with tons of things to do and people to meet. I would recommend anyone to go there, it was definitely one of the best weeks I have ever lived.
