Cottonwood Connections December 2024 | Page 5

As of November 27th, 2024, it marks my second anniversary as the Ellis County 4-H Youth Development Agent. As I reflect on the past two years, I feel incredibly grateful for all the experiences, lessons, and connections I have made along the way!

When I first started, I was eager to learn, but I never could have imagined just how much I would grow in such a brief time. Over the past two years, I have learned so much, whether it is new programming skills, the Extension ways, or invaluable lessons about teamwork. Every day has been an opportunity to expand my knowledge and challenge myself in new ways.

Celebrating Two Incredible Years as the Ellis County 4-H Agent!

One of the highlights of this journey has been getting to know everyone in the 4-H program. From the dedicated club leaders and volunteers to the inspiring 4-H and Cloverbud members, it’s been a joy to witness the passion and commitment everyone brings to the table. The sense of community in our 4-H program is truly special, and I am honored to be part of it.

Additionally, working with such amazing people in the Cottonwood Extension District has been a privilege. The support and collaboration from all my colleagues have made every challenge easier to face, and together, we have accomplished so much. I feel fortunate to work alongside such talented, driven individuals who share the same passion for making a difference in our communities.

As I look to the future, I am excited for all the opportunities for growth and connection that await us. Here is to many more years of learning, building relationships, and making an impact in the 4-H program and beyond!
