HEY, NABOR! EPISODE 5:
ACTRESS JOY WHITE IS BACK!
Can you believe we’re already on episode 5 of Hey,
Nabor Show! So much growth has happened since
the beginning, and with the help of our audience,
we’re talking about all the hair topics you want to hear.
In episode 5, our Nabor Nichelle is reunited with our
episode 1 guest co-host, actress Joy White. Joy was
a favorite on the show, and we had to bring her back
to see just how the show has changed since her first
appearance. Joy is also a fantastic co-host bringing so
much personality along with her amazing smile.
If you missed the first episode, allow us to tell you a little
bit about our guest co-host. Joy is a Maryland actress that
has been in many movies and TV shows. She began her
acting career in the movie Lincoln, directed by Steven
Spielberg. From there, she has worked with Netflix’s hit
series House of Cards, HBO’s Veep, and Amazon’s A
Series of One series. We previously featured Joy in the
CosmoBiz magazine on the set of The Dearly Departed
project where we saw her in character in person. The
way she taps into her character was pure talent. Our
other favorite film she starred in is Hott Boyz where she
plays the role of Sultry Silky.
As you can see from her acting history, Joy is a well-
established actress and bringing her on the Hey, Nabor
show as a guest co-host was necessary. As an actress,
Joy loves hair and makeup. For makeup, she loves
indie brands, as well as brands she can find in her local
beauty supply store. “I love wearing Destination Beauty
highlighters and lip glosses and products from Urban
Decay, Lorac, and Kiss Shadow. Sephora also has a
great foundation.”
