This year we also introduced Supplier
Afternoons which provided companies with the
opportunity to showcase their product offerings
in skincare actives and hair care technologies.
The Lecture Committee hosted three events
this year focused on popular marketing trends
information in Social Media, Cosmetic
Technology and Colour.
And providing our networking opportunities
were the Social Committee who once again
held highly successful and enjoyable social
Ladies and Golf days as well as rounding off
our calendar with another fantastic Year-end
luncheon.
All in all, our Society is in really great shape
during challenging geopolitical and economic
times with solid finances, an active relationship
with our partner societies such as the IFSCC
and stable membership numbers supported by
our PR committee.
An enormous amount of effort is contributed by
so many of our Council and Committee
Members while still focusing on their busy
schedules and I would like to take this
opportunity to thank each and every one of you
for your personal time, passion and energy.
A huge debt of gratitude goes out to our
Council and to the backbone off our Society,
Bridget MacDonald.
I would also especially like to extend my
heartfelt thanks to all our members and the
many companies in the Cosmetic Science
Industry for the continued support we receive
throughout the year. Thank You. As I hand over
the Presidency for 2018 to Dr Ivor Zwane, I
would like thank him for his support in the past
year and to wish him every success in his
upcoming presidency.
