Workshops Supplier Afternoons
Household Formulation Practical
Workshop held on 29 September 2017 2017 saw the launch of the Supplier Afternoons
at the Coschem offices, allowing our members
to showcase their appropriate portfolios to the
cosmetic industry. The initial afternoon was
showcasing Skin Care Actives and was
hosted on 3 May 2017. Due to the huge
success it was decided to host a second event
focusing on Hair Care Raw Materials on 6
October 2017.
Gillian Kuhn from Evonik Africa (Pty) Ltd and
Liezanne van der Walt from Juniper
Cosmetics shared their knowledge on basic
household products to assist our members
with formulating products of this nature. The
hands-on aspects of the workshop focused on
dish wash liquid, washing powder, fabric
softener and thick bleach technology.
Both events were well attended and both the
suppliers and the attendees found the event
extremely useful.
