Lindsey Kelk
British born and New York based writer Lindsey Kelk has brought an idiosyncratic spark to the writing province. Her infamous ‘I Heart’ series follows the riotously witty and romantic adventures of Angela and her travels to some of the major cities around the world. Through her additional undertakings as a Marie Claire UK columnist, blogger and children book editor she is the example of a meticulous and dedicated individual to the domain of writing.
Her books have been nominated for numerous awards including the People’s Choice Award in the inaugural Pure Passion Awards in 2010 and the Romantic Comedy Novel of the Year. She was enthused to write her first book ‘I Heart New York’ after a trip to the city itself. Kelk had then decided upon a series, each taking place in various city destinations. The first novella received copious rejections from editors and she had struggled to publish her work. Instead she signed a three book deal with HarperCollins after a friend recommended her to the company.
