POTTED PLANTS 4.8 NARC Approval may be necessary depending on the requirements of your specific neighborhood. ACC approval is not required as long as all Master Guidelines are met. 1. Potted plants are permitted at the front and rear of homes as follows: a. Two potted plants may be placed and maintained on the front porch (or stoop) of the home; pot height shall not exceed two feet and shall be earth tone in color or visually blend with the main color of the home. Plant size and height shall be aesthetically compatible with size and shape of pot. If the front porch area exceeds 80 square feet one additional potted plant will be permitted for each additional 25 square feet of porch, not to exceed a maximum of four potted plants. b. Two potted plants may be placed and maintained on the back patio; pot height shall not exceed two feet and shall be earth tone in color or compatible with the main color of the home. If the patio exceeds 125 square feet, one additional potted plant will be permitted for each additional 75 square feet of patio, not to exceed a maximum of four potted plants. c. Potted plants may not be placed anywhere else on the home site. d. Artificial flowers or plants are NOT permitted.
