SIGNAGE 4.9 NARC Approval may be necessary depending on the requirements of your specific neighborhood. ACC approval is not required as long as all Master Guidelines are met (EXCEPTION: see #3 below). 1. For Sale and For Rent Signs a. Signs may be displayed on the home site only in accordance with terms of a written agreement between the homeowner and the Kings Ridge Community Association. The agreement is available at the Office of the Community Manager. b. Sign shall conform in appearance size and shape to the approved Kings Ridge model. Attachments of any accessories e. g. information tubes, pockets, “Sale Pending”, etc. not permitted. c. d. Locate sign in a mulch bed in front of the home. If a corner lot, sign may be placed in that side yard. Sign may also be placed in the backyard in a mulch bed. e. Sign shall not interfere with landscape maintenance. f. Remove signs promptly upon closing or renting. g. Display of any other signage on the home, home site, in a window or in a parked vehicle is prohibited. 2. Security Signs a. Signs may be displayed on the home site. b. Place sign in mulch bed adjacent to front and rear entry to the home. One adjacent window sticker is permitted. c. Commercial signs installed by the security company are allowed. Maximum size: 8 by 10 inches. d. Generic signs, which are used throughout Kings Ridge, maybe purchased at the Club house. e. Homeowner shall maintain the signs at their expense. 3. Other Signs The display of other signs anywhere on the home site shall be specifically approved by both the NARC and ACC and the design shall be consistent with other approved neighborhood signage. Examples of such signage include but are not limited to neighborhood board announcement signs, neighborhood watch signs, and special event signs.
