ANY CHANGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME REQUIRES BOTH NARC AND ACC APPROVAL
EXCEPTION; SOLAR LIGHTS (SEE# 10). DO NOT REQUIRE THE APPROVAL OF THE ACC. DEPENDING ON
YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD REQUIREMENTS APPROVAL MAY BE REQUIRED BY YOUR NARC. CHECK WITH YOUR
NEIGHBORHOOD.
This guideline pertains to hard wired fixtures and solar lights.
THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS APPLY FOR THE REQUEST TO INSTALL HARD WIRED LIGHTS AND
ARE REQUIRED FOR AN ACC APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL.
1. Obtain a Kings Ridge ACC Application for Approval from Kings Ridge
Management Office (CMO) located at the clubhouse.
a. Attach a copy of the guideline.
b. Include a copy of the product data with the specifications and color of the fixture.
c. Include a drawing showing the intended location of the fixture(s).
d. Complete the Irrigation System Indemnification Agreement.
e. Submit the completed Kings Ridge ACC Application for approval with all the information
listed above. Return the completed application with attachments to the
Kings Ridge Community Management Office (CMO). Call 811 before you dig.
f. Failure to provide the required information listed above will result in your application being
returned or denied for insufficient information.
2. Do not start construction of any improvement, alteration, or addition to any existing structure
or make any site improvements or changes prior to approval. After receiving approval from
the ACC, obtain and pay for all permits that may be required by governmental authorities.
Upon completion submit copies of all permits to the Community Management Office for filing
with your Architectural Application.
3. Proposed work shall start within 45 days of approval by the ACC and shall be completed within
180 days of commencement. Time extensions may be granted by the NARC upon written
request.
4. Landscape lighting fixtures are permitted on the home site only within existing
mulched tree and/or planting beds.
5. Light fixtures are not permitted on trees or shrubs. Ground mounted purpose made and
properly shielded “mini-flood or spot” lighting fixtures are permitted to highlight not more
than three ornamental trees or shrubs provided they comply with provisions of this guideline.
