HOUSE NUMBER REPLACEMENT 2.21 ACC approval is not required for replacing house numbers. However, all replacement house numbers in any given neighborhood must be of the same type, i.e. Option 1, 2 or 3, as determined by the Neighborhood BOD. In order to maintain this uniformity the NARC requires each resident to receive approval at the neighborhood level. 1. Color: Dark green background color as used throughout Kings Ridge, white reflective numbers and white frame or border. 2. Size: a. b. c. Size and shape to conform to Kings Ridge standards Overall dimensions – 14 ¼” by 5 ¾” or 14 ¾ ” by 5 ¾ “ Background (green) area – 12 ¾” by 4 ¼” or 13 ¼” by 4 ¼ “ Numbers – 3 ¼” by 2” 3. Construction: a. Option 1 A solid white PVC board frame 7/8” thick with approved dark green vinyl overlay, and numbers of a white reflective character. Numbers may be separated by scribing through the green vinyl to the white background to simulate 4 green tiles. b. Option 2 A solid white PVC board frame 7/8” thick routed out to accommodate three green ceramic tiles of approved green color and numbers of a white reflective character. c. Option 3 A single material high density plastic called Color Core – White over Green – not reflective – engraved by routing thru the white to leave white numbers and white border with a green background. 4. Supplier: For approved vendors contact the neighborhood ARC. 5. Location: Different house styles have different locations where numbers are displayed; some are placed over the garage door, some over the house door. All replacement, numbers must be placed in the original location. 6. Removal/Installation: Homeowner or Agent engaged in operation to remove and re-install numbers must work through Neighborhood BOD and follow their requirements. If the installation is by use of screws, the screws must be of stainless steel so that no staining takes place due to weather. However, we recommend installation by use of a proper adhesive.
