DOOR REPLACEMENT 2.20 ANY CHANGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME REQUIRES BOTH NARC AND ACC APPROVAL 1. Obtain an application form from Kings Ridge Management Office (CMO) located at the clubhouse. Submit the application form with a copy of the guideline, vendor brochure to illustrate design(s), the product data with specifications, and any other pertinent information. Return your completed application to the CMO. 2. Do not start construction of any improvement, alteration, or addition to any existing structure or make any site improvements or changes prior to approval. After receiving approval from the ACC, obtain and pay for all permits that may be required by governmental authorities. Upon completion submit copies of all permits to the CMO for filing with your Architectural Application. 3. Proposed work shall start within 45 days of approval by the ACC and shall be completed within 180 days of commencement. Time extensions may be granted by the NARC upon written request. 4. Replacement of original exterior doors is permitted. This is applicable to entrance, sliding, and garage doors. 5. Doors to be replaced within interior courtyards and/or screened porches or screened additions do not require an application for approval of the ACC. 6. Remove existing doors and all debris from site. 7. Replace existing doors with purpose made doors to match existing design and material: a. Front entrance doors may be finished in a wood design in color that visually blend with the house color scheme. See Guideline 2.9 HOUSE COLOR SCHEMES. Any replacement front entrance doors in Whitehall must conform in color to Guideline 2.9.1. b. Rear entrance doors refer to Guideline 2.9 HOUSE COLOR SCHEMES. c. Sliding doors may be replaced with “French” style doors. d. Garage door replacement: Regardless, of the existing door the homeowner may install a door with one top row of clear glass windows, no design, and may be interchangeable with screens.
