SOLAR ELECTRIC PANELS 2.16.1
ANY CHANGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE REQUIRES NARC AND ACC APPROVAL
THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS APPLY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR ELECTRIC
PANELS.
1. Obtain the following information from the vendor
a. Photos of solar panels, attic ventilators, and any other pertinent equipment to be
installed.
b. An aerial view picture/or drawing showing the exact placement of the proposed
solar panels on the roof.
c. A copy of the product data with specifications.
2. Obtain a Kings Ridge ACC Application from the Kings Ridge Management office (CMO)
located at the clubhouse.
a. Submit the completed Kings Ridge ACC Application for Approval with a copy of the
following.
b. All the vendor information required from the list above in numbered 1. a, b, c.
c. Return the completed application with a copy of the guideline(s) and all other
required attachments to the Community Management Office for approval of both the
NARC and the ACC.
3. Do not start construction of any improvement, alteration, or addition to any existing
structure or make any site improvements or changes prior to approval. After receiving
approval from the ACC, obtain and pay for all permits that may be required by
governmental authorities. Upon completion submit copies of all permits to the CMO for
filing with your Architectural Application.
4. Proposed work shall commence within 45 days of approval by the ACC and shall be
completed within 180 days of commencement. Time extensions may be granted by the
NARC upon written request.
5. Preparation: Homeowner shall notify adjacent property owners of the scope and extent
of the proposed work including the location of all exterior pool related equipment.
