SATELLITE DISH 2.13 ANY CHANGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOME REQUIRES BOTH NARC AND ACC APPROVAL Note: The ACC believes that this guideline is in substantial compliance with The Kings Ridge Community Declaration of Restrictive Covenants and does not impair the installation, maintenance or use of a “dish” antenna on the homeowner’s home or property. A “dish” antenna is one meter (39.37") or less in diameter and is designed to receive direct broadcast satellite service, including direct-to-home satellite service, or to receive or transmit fixed wireless signals via satellite. It is not the intent of this guideline to impair the homeowner’s ability to install, maintain, or use an antenna covered by FCC Rule (47 C.F.R Section 1.4000). Should homeowner’s ability to install, maintain, or use an antenna in the manner described herein be impaired then homeowner shall notify the NARC and ACC to request consideration of alternate locations on the home or property. 1. Obtain an application form from Kings Ridge Management Office (CMO) located at the club- house. Submit the application form with a copy of the guideline, plat survey, (or accurate drawing) indicating the location of the DISH, product data with specifications, and any other pertinent information. Return your completed application to the CMO. Call 811 before you dig. 2. Do not start construction of any improvement, alteration, or addition to any existing structure or make any site improvements or changes prior to approval. After receiving approval from the ACC, obtain and pay for all permits that may be required by governmental authorities. Upon completion submit copies of all permits to the CMO for filing with your Architectural Application. 3. Place the satellite dish on the home or property utilizing one of the following methods: a. Ground-mounted on at least a 3 inch diameter metal pole toward the rear one-third of the home with a 3 foot diameter mulch bed surrounding it. The dish shall not be higher than 8 feet from the ground. The homeowner shall maintain the mulch bed. b. Mounted on the side of the home toward the rear one-third of the home or on the rear of the home. The dish shall be mounted on the wall just below the roof eave.
