CANOPY TREES 4.10
ANY CHANGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME REQUIRES BOTH NARC AND ACC APPROVAL
This guideline applies to the planting, removal and replacement of canopy trees on a homeowner’s
lot. In all cases, the planting and removal of a canopy tree requires the approval of the NARC, ACC,
and the City of Clermont.
**CALL 811 before the start of any construction**
The ACC and NARC will not measure or survey to make a determination whether any tree(s)
are located on the homeowner’s lot. The responsibility and expense, for determining lot lines, if
any, rests solely with the homeowner.
1. THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS APPLY FOR THE REMOVAL OF ALL CANOPY TREES
AND ARE REQUIRED FOR AN ACC APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL

(CMO) located at the clubhouse.
b. Apply to the City of Clermont for a Tree Removal Permit Application (City of Clermont,
Development Services Department).
c. Attach a plot survey indicating location of canopy tree, and all other trees located on your lot.
d. If a replacement tree is required, list the type of tree and location on the plot survey, and the
type of the replacement tree on the KR ACC Application for Approval: See page two for
approved canopy trees for Kings Ridge.
e. If an understory tree is a required replacement tree; See Guideline 4.10.1 for list of approved
Kings Ridge Understory trees.
f. Complete the Irrigation System Indemnification Agreement.
