U15 county championships, leckwith stadium
Well done to all the Corpus Christi pupils that took part in the U15’s Athletics Competition. The day was very enjoyable as everyone displayed great sportsmanship to those around them. Everyone did exceptionally well.
A special mention to the following pupils who excelled in their events.
Ellis John flew through the 100m destroying the field and producing a time of 12.37 secs
Sophie Ekstrom-Gabb jumped into an impressive 3rd place in the long jump with a distance of 4.34m
Congratulations Donna Carre representing an age group higher and producing a throw of 16.01m in the discus to secure 6th place.
Finally congratulations to Justin Pilapil whose hop, skip and jump landed him into 5th place with 10.05m in the triple jump.

In the Boys' U15 Championships, notable performances were from the following pupils:
Ellis John won his 100m heat in 12.37 secs (no final due to weather conditions).
Inigo Santillan 6th in the 300m.
4 x 100m relay team 1st in their heat (no final due to weather conditions).
Sam Wooding 8th in High Jump (1.40m).
Foudia Zouber 5th Long Jump (4.89m).
Justin Pilapil 5th Triple Jump (10.05m).
Foudia Zouber 5th Shot Put (9.62m).
