Game v Eastern High
Yr7 Girl’s Baseball team played against Eastern High
and unfortunately lost. We won the toss and chose to
field first- they hit 40 and we went in and hit 21. The
game was 20 goods, we swapped half way through with different people who were fielding. The match was a fun day and the girls played really well and Eastern played brilliant and deserved to win.
Game v Bishop of Llandaf
We played Bishop of Llandaf in the last week of term and were hoping to end with a win! It was a very close game. With home runs from Ellie O'Brien, Sofia Vella and Montanna Robertson, Corpus had a score of 34. Bishop were determined to beat this score and it came down to the last few batters. Unfortunately they just pipped us by scoring 39- but lots of improvement from the last game - we look toward to further improving in Year 8.
Ellie Andrews & Sofia Vella.
