CoreSportgib short news Artell leaves Bala Bala Town confirmed this week that they have mutually agreed to terminate David Artell’s contract. "We would like to thank Dave for his services over the past 18 months and wish him all the best for the future.," said a spokesman for Bala Town. Bala town are presently second in the Welsh premier league. Artell made 19 appearances with a further one as sub scoring one league goal. In July 2014 Artell became Academy Operations Manager at former club Crewe Alexandra whilst still playing for Bala Town. Rugby under 14 get matches under their belt The Under 14's Gibraltar Rugby travelled to Granada last weekend for a friendly. The young squad, depleted in numbers with only 12 players available for the long trip, showed promise even though conceding a heavy loss. The match was a good learning platform for the team who at one stage played with eleven players. Gibraltar Rugby is now trying to arrange a match for this weekend in Malaga. The players will then have a break until the end of February.
