By: Donna Schwartz, DVM - Coral Springs Animal Hospital Primary Care Clinician Willow, an 8 month old FS DSH feline presented to me in April, 2016 for a swollen lower lip. I had not seen Willow since her last set of kitten boosters (December 2015). The owner had not reported any other concerns at home. On physical examination, Willow weighed 5 pounds and was significantly smaller than her littermate who weighed 8 pounds. Willow had minimal eruption of her adult pre-molars and molars with severe gingivitis present. There was quite a bit of mobility of her teeth noted along with malocclusion.
