2. The Youth Goodwill Ambassador Corps of Denmark - benefit from direct access to top international students in Denmark

The Youth Goodwill Ambassador Corps is a global network of international students representing Danish universities globally. The students work on a voluntary basis in order to promote Denmark as an attractive study and work destination via marketing campaigns, sharing their personal experiences and organising events internationally.Based on students’ participation in the program, they are awarded the honorary title of Youth Goodwill Ambassador. All members of the network take part in a unique talent development program while studying in Denmark and work with Danish key stakeholders within business, culture and academic institutions. Today the network consists of more than 200 students from more than 45 countries worldwide.

The goal is both to strengthen Denmark’s position as a leading international knowledge and education economy as well as to brand academic programs, Danish business, culture and Denmark in general to potential students and leading higher education institutions worldwide. This marketing builds upon the core values of the university’s own branding campaigns, Denmark’s three branding themes: green nation, innovation and balance and the personal experience/story telling word of mouth approach.

The aim is to increase the number of international students seeking to study in Denmark and to develop a platform for career opportunities between international students and Danish companies.
