Executive Board
Article X goes over the second board : the Executive Board . is structured just like Article IX , down to the name and order of each section .
Section 1 . Board Composition .
The Executive Board is just the NJCL officers . Effectively , it ’ s just a fancy name . The board is advised by the Chairperson of the National Committee .
Section 2 . Board Duties & Powers .
The Executive Board makes recommendations to the Board of Directors . Additionally , it carries out any other duties specified by the Board of Directors or in the NJCL ’ s governing documents .

Section 3 . A . Special Meetings
A special meeting of the Executive Board can , again , be called by the NJCL President or the Chairperson of the National Committee . An Executive Board meeting only needs to be announced two days in advance .
How do I do it ?
It ’ s important to have an article detailing the group that leads your JCL State or local chapter .
Σ Decide who will be on your board . Student officers ? State chairs ? All sponsors ? Just sponsors of officers ? Σ Specify the duties and powers of your board . Σ If your board has any regular meetings or rules for special meetings , include those as well .
