July Incidents
07/04/17 2-11 Kirby, TX 5100 Gordon Cooper- the Kirby Fire
Department along with numerous mutual-aid agencies ended the
4th of July with a bang with this 2 alarm house fire in the
5100blk of Gordon Cooper in the City of Kirby. Attack 1 and
Medic 3 arrived to find a fully Involved garage fire. Kirby crews
were running multiple grass/brush fires in the city and county at
the time, so an automatic request for mutual-aid was put in. KFD
EN02 arrived and assumed command. Fire was self venting
through the roof and a second alarm was sounded brining in
additional man power. Multiple hand lines and the monitor off
Kirby's engine were used to bring the suspicious fire under
control. The Bexar County Fire Marshal and Arson was request-
ed. Companies on the ticket were Kirby EN01, EN02, QA01,
M03, Bexar County Rehab, Bexar Co. ESD #10 E120, Bexar Co.
ESD #10 E164, ESD10 BC, ESD10 Shift Commander, Converse
E2, Windcrest E2, Ft Sam Houston (USAF) Attack 1, Ft Sam
Houston (USAF) Engine 1, and Universal City Truck 1.

07/05/17 Manchester, CT 79 Joan Cir—Manchester,
Ct had ACW for a kitchen fire at 79 Joan Cir. on 7/5/17
at 21:59. Mutual aid tankers from Glastonbury were
started right away as there are no hydrants in this part of
town. ‘
