Garland ISD seniors will be walking the stage at commencement soon. The ceremonies are scheduled May 30–June 1
at the Curtis Culwell Center. Be sure to prepare prior to the big day with directions, tips, parking and other important
information available at garlandisd.net/graduation.

8 p.m. – Lakeview Centennial High School 1 p.m. – North Garland High School
5 p.m. – Sachse High School
Saturday, June 1

1 p.m. – South Garland High School
5 p.m. – Garland High School
#ChooseGarlandISD Day
More than 300 families completed enrollment for incoming Pre-K students at
the district’s annual #ChooseGarlandISD Day event. Held at the Gilbreath-Reed
Career and Technical Center, the event provided immunization screenings,
language testing, and interactive games and activities. Representatives from all
15 satellite Pre-K campuses, Cisneros and Parsons prekindergarten schools, and
Herfurth and Luna elementary schools provided information regarding early
childhood and Montessori programs. As an added bonus, every student who
enrolled received a free backpack with school supplies.
