Continuing a longstanding Garland
ISD tradition, Edith Campa, Sara Dacon,
Trinity Del Regno, Gideon Ethridge,
Lauren Grecu, Grant Hayes and Keaton
McGill received the highest honor a
Texas music student can receive—
earning a spot in All-State bands, choirs and
orchestras. While more than 60,000 students audition
every year, just three percent achieve the coveted title.
Supporting innovative teaching and learning, the Garland ISD Education
Foundation (GEF) awarded nearly $58,000 in scholarships and grants to teachers
and paraprofessionals this spring. In addition, the annual GEF Golf Tournament
raised over $70,000 to fund future scholarships and grants.
