Congrats to Herfurth Elementary School ’ s Ariana Martinez Hueda for becoming the first Garland ISD student to win the Region 10 Third Grade Spanish Spelling Bee . The nine-year-old snagged the title after dedicating hours to studying using a color-coding system she developed on her own .
