Please be aware that there will be a few changes in our seating arrangements at GISD stadiums and gyms .
1 . All tickets will be general admission , which means no reserved seating at any GISD stadium or gym . You can now sit anywhere you want at the game !
2 . Going to a game ? Now you can skip the lines with GISD ' s touch-less online athletic ticket purchasing .
How to purchase tickets online :
1 . Go to garlandisd . tix . com and create your account .
2 . Visit garlandisd . net / athletics to select your game and purchase tickets .
3 . When you get to the game , show the attendant your e-ticket . You can use a digital copy on your phone or bring a printed ticket to the game .

Senior Citizens 65 years and older , veterans and active-duty military can still attend athletic events for free with a Garland ISD VIP Pass . These are available at the GISD Print Shop with an appointment .

Garland ISD prepares to launch new website
As the world adapts to new technology , it is important to keep up with trends in web design and delivering a more visual , branded and concise experience for site visitors . For the past year , GISD has been on a mission to bring the next evolution of our award-winning district website .
The redesigned district website , which launches later this year , is a multi-phase project that includes research , design , development and content migration . The website will feature tweaks to the menu and search functionality to improve user experience , an exciting , updated color scheme and new layout , quick links and landing pages for parents , students and staff , and a repurposed homepage highlighting what makes GISD special . The new structure will create a better experience for all that visit .
After a year of in-depth research and discovery process that included stakeholder interviews , community survey , competitor analysis , analytics review and guidance from district leadership , the new website experience is on track to launch mid-November .

Garland ISD is grateful to have a generous community . Whether it ’ s a calling to serve on a committee , donate to the Garland ISD Education Foundation or volunteer at a nearby campus , we welcome all forms of engagement .
Senior citizens , veterans , active duty military and parents of young children not yet enrolled in GISD are also encouraged to connect with us via VIP and Littles Club memberships .
A VIP pass grants community members age 65 and older free access to any district-hosted athletic game and Fine Arts performance . Thanks to a district partnership , VIP pass holders can even enjoy free general admission to Wylie ISD games and performances .
A Littles Club membership helps prepare children for success . All families in Garland , Rowlett and Sachse with children not enrolled in a district school — from birth to five years old — are eligible . Members receive weekly emails with developmental tips , access to thousands of online books , special invites to age-appropriate events and more .
