Making district history and representing 2 % of the nation ’ s Dell Scholars , Zakarya Mohammad Ameen , Faven Asefaw , Hoang Do , Helen Fisseha , Karen Mira Lopez , Janeth Millan and Brenda Vazquez were named 2021 Dell Scholars . These college-bound seniors will each receive $ 20,000 , a laptop , textbook credits , and ongoing educational and emotional support .
