The CI at NC State has been devoted to outreach
and cooperation with local schools for many
years. With the collaboration between teachers,
we successfully opened an after-school program
at A.B. Combs Elementary School. A.B. Combs is a
top-ranked magnet school in the U.S. and has good
reputation and influence in the local community. The
A.B. Combs after-school program consisted of ten
lessons spanning from March to May.
CI teachers designed the most suitable
curriculum for the young students by connecting
Chinese lessons to their daily lives. Topics covered
in the program included fruits, colors, numbers and
animals. CI teachers organized hands-on activities to
provide a fun learning atmosphere. Our CI continues
to create new paths in promoting Chinese culture and
with a high demand this program will be repeated
next semester.
多年来，北卡州大孔院一直致力于拓展与当地学校
的多种合作形式。经过孔院老师长达数月与当地教育部
门、学校的积极沟通与协调，北卡州大孔院与当地AB寇姆
磁石小学终于成功开展了课后语言培训项目 AB寇姆小学
。
是全美排名前列的磁石小学，该校在当地具有极高的声誉
和影响力。孔院和该校的培训项目自3月初持续到5月底 为
，
时十周。
为了适应孩子的特点
，孔院老师为他们量身定制了合
适的教学内容，
将教学内容选择在既和孩子们的生活息息
相关又让孩子们感兴趣的方面，例如：水果、颜色、数字、
动物等等，并寓教于乐，把汉语学习和手工制作相结合，让
孩子们既学习了语言 又取得了小小的劳动成果。老师们还

特别用心地把每个孩子们的作品分别收藏在单独的文件
夹里 几周下来，孩子们都为自己的成果自豪不已

近年来，孔院积极拓宽思路、灵活办学，
在汉语和文
化推广的本土化方面走出了一条独具特色的路子。
