he July 2020
Farnborough
International Airshow
is proving to be the
fastest-selling edition of the show to
date. With over a year still to go,
more than 90% of exhibition space
has been sold or committed. The
event offers rare and unique
corporate hospitality opportunities.
Urban Air is to lead the Airshow’s
features with the world’s biggest
single showcase of technology and
innovation, transforming how the
world flies. July 2020’s Airshow
marks the first time that the future
of air transport will be so broadly
exhibited.
International attendance is
breaking records; new country
pavilions already include India,
Australia and Mexico with the total
expected to exceed 30. Turkey,
Portugal and the USA have all
increased their pavilion size.
Amanda Stainer, Farnborough
International’s chief commercial and
partnerships officer, says: “The July
2020 Farnborough International
Airshow is shaping up to be our
biggest and most dynamic yet.
“We’ve seen major growth among
defence exhibitors. Farnborough is
the leading show for every aspect of
civil,
commercial and
defence aerospace.
“Around half of the world’s
countries will be at Farnborough.
Our show enables the global
aerospace community to meet and
do business in one place, over the
course of a single week, while
gaining unparalleled insight into the
technology and innovation shaping
the industries we represent.”
Event trends for the airshow
include a push by companies to
occupy bespoke, standalone areas.
Chalets demand remains high and

Farnborough International
continues to work closely with the

representatives, on delivering a
comprehensive delegations
programme. The programme is
widely acknowledged as a core
strength of the Airshow as it
facilitates meetings with
government, industry decision
makers and companies
throughout the supply chain,
enabling exhibitors to achieve
business objectives.
