Cvent launches AI-powered platform Cvent has launched CventIQ™, an AI-powered platform to help event planners and hospitality professionals work better and deliver higher returns. Cvent CEO Reggie Aggarwal unveiled CventIQ during his opening address at Cvent CONNECT in San Antonio, TX. For event planners: CventIQ instantly analyses audience feedback to show how sessions performed and creates marketing content automatically. It also suggests personalised sessions. For hotels and venues: The system helps find the right event planners faster and creates AI-powered 3D room layouts, as well as speeding up proposal responses.

Southern Africa’ s conference association signs MoU with Africa’ s Eden
The Southern African Association for the Conference Industry( SAACI) and Africa’ s Eden Tourism Association have signed a MoU covering partnership links in business events and leisure tourism across the continent.“ This MoU represents the kind of smart, collaborative thinking our region needs,” said Jacques Fouché, SAACI chairperson.“ It brings the strength of Africa’ s Eden’ s destination network together with SAACI’ s depth in the business events industry.” The collaboration gives members of both associations access to shared opportunities like knowledge-sharing sessions and platforms for event speakers.
