City takes full control over Prague Congress Centre The Prague Congress Centre( PCC) has been transferred to city from state ownership after the city authorities acquired the remaining 54 % stake in the business. The Czech venue has capacity for 10,000, including a main Congress Hall seating 2,764 delegates. In return for granting the full ownership to the city, the state will receive Faust House on Karlovo náměstí, a section of Homolka Hospital, and the car park in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as CZK2.21bn to balance the property values.

CityDNA Summer School heads to Luxembourg City Destinations Alliance( CityDNA), the European network for Destination Marketing Organisations( DMOs) and convention bureaus, will host its 2025 Summer School in Luxembourg, 25 – 29 August 2025. This flagship training programme is tailored for newcomers to the business events sector. Since its inception in 1987, the CityDNA Summer School has equipped over 2,100 alumni with essential industry insights and is one of the most respected educational initiatives in the field.

New major convention centre coming to Accra Ghana is finally getting a world-class convention centre. The new Ghana Trade Fair Convention Centre is currently under construction in Labadi, Accra and is set to open in September 2025. At 20,000 capacity, this facility will dwarf anything Ghana currently has. To put it in perspective, most major entertainment venues in Ghana today can barely squeeze in 3,000 people. With Ghana hosting the African Continental Free Trade Area( AfCFTA) Secretariat in Accra, the new centre should give further momentum to Accra becoming a hub for major conferences and events.

Imagination Australia’ s growing team lets fly Design experience agency Imagination is reporting a new phase of growth in Australia, fuelled by major client wins that has prompted the agency to expand its team. It reports winning a slew of projects across automotive, tech, finance and agrifood, including global launches for both Nissan and Ford. For Nissan, Imagination’ s scope included the production of the recent global reveal for the all-new LEAF, working in partnership with the Nissan team. For Ford, Imagination led the automotive giant’ s historic 100-year celebration in April, in Melbourne, attended by 1,500 employees.
