ExpoPlatform signs three-year deal with IMEX

MEX Group has agreed a three-year partnership , running through to the end of 2026 , with UK-based event tech provider ExpoPlatform as official event tech partner ahead of IMEX America this October .
The announcement comes after a successful IMEX Frankfurt 2023 in May , where a new online platform launched with features designed to maximise business connections and ease of use for participants .
Work has since been going on behind the scenes to improve the tools on offer for the latest edition of IMEX America , which took place 17-19 October at the Mandalay Bay , Las Vegas .

Cvent gearing up to CONNECT in Europe
Cvent , a meetings , events , and hospitality technology provider , has announced the keynote speaker line-up for its event technology conference , Cvent CONNECT Europe ( 7-9 November ).
The line-up includes Colonel Dame Kelly Holmes MBE , and the BAFTA award-winning television presenter Claudia Winkleman , who will assume the role of Master of Ceremonies ( MC ) at the event .
Mike Ford , CEO and founder of agency Grateful Lemon , has also been confirmed as a keynote speaker . Cvent CEO and founder , Reggie Aggarwal , will deliver the opening keynote address and will participate in an armchair-style Q & A session with Winkleman following his opening keynote .

IBTM World is set to host its smartest event yet with the launch of new technology designed to elevate the attendee experience and create better business results for all attendees .
Taking place at the Fira de Barcelona 28-30 November , the show has a new guidance tool for matchmaking , WalkMe , which enables exhibitors to search for and request appointments with key buyers . Additionally , exhibitors , hosted buyers , and visitor buyers will now have their diaries synced to the official IBTM World mobile app .
IBTM World has also launched an Exhibitor Dashboard for its 2023 edition , allowing exhibitors to measure ROI . This tool enables exhibitors to see how many visitors and buyers are viewing their event profile in real time , as well as how many leads they gathered in total during the show using the Emperia app .
The 2023 show will also see a new streamlined registration process , courtesy of provider Iceni Event Solutions .
