AIACV and the Crocker Art Museum host
architectural historian Simon Sadler, Ph.D.,
who will present an examination of the
Crocker’s architecture in the context of how
we think about and engage with museums
today, as well as a broader look at the prior-
ities of architectural design and contempo-
rary American architectural culture.
Sadler is a professor in the UC Davis
Department of Design and is author of
numerous articles and books on design
including “Archigram: Architecture without
Architecture” and “The Situationist City.” A
Q&A will follow Sadler’s talk. This event is
led by Maria Ogrydziak, AIA.
