INSIGHT COLLABORATE Collaborative partnerships between HR, Business and Compliance is critical to achieve our common goal for promoting Business Ethics and Culture of Integrity within the organization. As part of our compliance management program, we kicked-off of our country-wide project “Collaborate”, which marks the new ear for compliance with a collaborative partnerships between HR, Business and Compliance. This collaborative partnerships between HR business and compliance colleagues supplements each other’s expertise and by synergizing our efforts, we will be able to sustain compliance revolution within Mobilink and its affiliates. The realigned Compliance Department, headed by Director, BU Compliance Officer is establishing itself as a single point of contact affecting business decisions and processes from the beginning while also encouraging more autonomy and accountability of the business. With a dedicated compliance team, we will continue to provide guidance on all compliance related issues to employees, maintaining itself as a “business enabler” and a reliable partner. “We intend to empowering business to make its own autonomous compliance decision, enabling colleagues to take ownership of their Compliance obligations” Shahid Umar Director, BU Compliance Officer COMPLIANCEOPEDIA Compliance Team will work with management and human resource in identifying business need for compliance trainings and awareness sessions, enabling employees at all levels to have clear understanding, of compliance processes and not just a requirement for ticking boxes exposing Mobilink to potential danger of noncompliance. Focus for 2016 is about promoting Business Ethics and Culture of Integrity, making people aware of the principles and values incorporated in VimpelCom Code of Conduct. We will work together for achieving our target for improvement in weak integrity areas identified in RiskClarity Survey for 2015. Page 3/10
