COVID-19 Relief
Jacksonville Jaguars Owner Shad Khan and the Jaguars Foundation joined together with players , coaches and partners to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in a variety of ways :
• Jaguars Owner Shad Khan committed $ 1 million to local organizations including the Florida First Coast Relief Fund at the United Way of Northeast Florida , Feeding Northeast Florida , Clara White Mission and the Red Cross .
• Head Coach Doug Marrone and General Manager David Caldwell contributed $ 8,000 each to the NFL Draft-A-Thon , joining thousands of NFL fans across the nation . Jacksonville received more than $ 100,000 from the worldwide fundraiser to support local efforts via the United Way of Northeast Florida .
• The Jaguars distributed 50,000 masks to citizens , nonprofit shelters , feeding programs and the Duval County Public Schools .
• Jaguars legend Tony Boselli , who himself recovered from COVID-19 , participated in a team-produced public service announcement urging the public to wear masks in the community .
• Alongside Daily ’ s , the Jaguars distributed $ 30,000 in gift cards to health care workers , first responders , educators , veterans and vulnerable adults and families .
• Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette contributed to Second Harvest Food Bank in his hometown of New Orleans , providing more than 7,000 meals .
• OL Tyler Shatley gifted $ 10,000 , matched by the Jaguars Foundation for a total of $ 20,000 to help provide 1,500 prepared meals delivered daily to seniors in partnership with Florida Blue and Feeding Northeast Florida to support for restaurants providing meals for first responders and healthcare workers .
