REGISTRATION INFORMATION
What is a Registration Lottery ?
• Registration is done through a lottery , giving everyone an equal opportunity to receive their first choice class option .
• Registration for families who live in the Anoka-Hennepin School District that are received by 10:00 a . m . on March 29 will be included in the lottery . Once the lottery is complete , confirmation of each child ’ s class placement will be emailed . Registrations received after March 29 will be placed as space is available .
• Families that live outside of the district may register for Anoka-Hennepin Schools Preschool ( Tuition-based classes only ) beginning at 8:00 a . m . on April 5 .
• Registrations are accepted throughout the year and children will be placed as space is available .
Waiting List
Registrations that are requesting full tuition fee assistance and busing will go on a waiting list while busing attendance area is confirmed and required income verification documents ( see page 7 ) are received .
Required Documents :
Documents must be submitted within one week of registration . Failure to submit documents will result in your child not being registered for preschool or unenrolled from class .
• Immunization records , statement of medical exemption or conscientious exemption ( submitted annually ).
• Birth certificate , passport , visa , 194 or green card ( at initial enrollment in district ).
