Registration information

Registration begins March 28 at 8 a . m .

Eligible ages for Anoka-Hennepin Preschool
All children must be toilet trained to attend preschool classes .
Three-year-old classes
Child must be three years old on September 1 , 2023 . Four-year-old classes
Child must be four years old on September 1 , 2023 .
Registration lottery
Registration for option 3 preschool ( three-year-old and four-year-old ) is done through a lottery , giving everyone an equal chance to receive their first choice class .
• Registrations for families who live in the Anoka-Hennepin School District that are received by 10 a . m . on Friday , April 7 , will be included in the lottery . Once the lottery is complete , confirmation of each child ’ s class placement will be emailed . Registrations received after April 8 will be placed as space is available .
• Families who live outside of the district may register for Anoka-Hennepin Schools Preschool beginning at 8 a . m . on Friday , April 14 . Registrations are welcome throughout the year and will be placed as space is available .
Waiting list
Registrations for four-year-old preschool - option 1 and option 2 will go directly into a waiting list status when submitted . When the required documents ( listed below ) are received , students will be enrolled in a morning or afternoon class based on school district bus routes .
